PARCHMENT EMBOSSED FLORAL SWIRLS

MATERIALS NEEDED
A5 parchment paper
White colored pencil
Parchment tools: shader, embossing ball, stylus
Pen
Copier paper
Peel off sentiments
Brads
A4 cardstock ( fold to make an A5 card)
Parchment embossing mat

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Draw a design of choice.

2. Working in front of parchment, place trace design of floral swirl under

parchment and trace design with white colour pencil on the parchment paper.

3. Working at the back of parchment , place parchment on embossing mat and

trace design with a stylus

4. Parchment still on embossing mat, emboss the petals of flowers in a feather-like

motion or stroke (from tip of petal towards the centre) with the shader tool.

5. Working in front of parchment , place parchment on embossing mat and emboss

the centres of flowers with the ball tool. (tip: move the ball tool up and down

{vertically} then side to side { horizontally} and round and round.

This gives a perfect embossed circle).

6. Attach parchment to A5 card on four sides with brad
7. Place sentiment on front corner of parchment.
TO VARY: flowers have been embossed on pieces of parchment

and these have been cut out and decoupage {layered} on the flowers

with silicone glue. The petals can be curled around a pen to give it dimension.
