CRAFTWORK CARDS LIMITED

Myself and Andrew are absolutely heartbroken at having to make the decision to appoint Insolvency Practitioners to liquidate Craftwork Cards Limited. We are filing for a CVL (Company Voluntary Liquidation), and the process for this began yesterday. Until now we have not been able to say anything. We have tried our very best to make things work, and could not have reached a milestone 20 years in business without your loyalty, friendship and support.

We have loved working in our small family business and building the brand, and both myself and Andrew want to personally say thank you for your custom over the years. We particularly want to say a massive thank you to Julie, Mary, Gill and Jo for their dedication, friendship and absolute loyalty to me, Andrew and Craftwork Cards.

At this stage we do not have any further comments to make.

  1. I am so very sorry to learn that Craftwork Cards is closing after 30 years. I have been a huge fan of your products for many years as they are so distinctive, innovative and unique. Julie Hickey’S demonstrations both on TV and at craft events have always been excellent and inspirational. She has been a great ambassador for your brand.
A couple of years ago I had a card published in the Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine using Craftwork Cards pink striped paper. I made it for a friend who was undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer. I wrote to you and asked if I could purchase some more of the pink paper separately as it came in a pad with five other designs. I wanted to make some cards and donate them to the Breast Cancer charity. You kindly sent me a pack free of charge which I really appreciated. Thank you for all your inspirating over the years. I wish you all the best for the future.

  2. Dear Sue and Andrew So sorry you have had to make such a hard decision. Your products have been of the highest quality and service amazing. My sister and niece with be gutted also as I recommended you to them a few years ago. I wish you all the best for the future. Be happy in the knowledge that you did your very best for all your customers.

  3. Sad news yes, but also for those of us who were subscribing to the monthly card box, had just resubscribed and alas, got nothing for out money. I can’t understand why, when they knew they were having difficulties, they kept accepting new subscriptions.

However, good news for PayPal payers! I managed to get my money back because I had paid by the above method. Always use PP where you can – I only wrote to them on the off chance but was successful.
