Today, we are celebrating our theme for the month of June 2018 with Caramelized Orange.
Ingredients
- Oranges- sliced
- Sugar
- Water
Equipment
- Cooker
- Frying Pan with lid
- Kitchen Tongs
Step 1: Slice the orange. Put a saucepan or frying pan(that has lid) on the cooker. Place the sliced oranges in the frying pan and boil for about five to eight minutes. Remove the oranges from the frying pan and set aside.
Step 2: Add sugar to the boiling water in the saucepan, stir until sugar has dissolved and then put the sliced oranges, cover the frying pan and let it cook under a low heat for 30 minutes to 1 hour until the water\syrup in the pan is almost dry.
Step 3: Remove the caramelized oranges from the pan and eat. It can be used to decorate desserts.
