This is a baked or fried semi-circular shaped pastry made from shortcrust pastry and has seasoned chicken filling in it.
Pasties are usually in semi-circle forms due to it being cut out as a circle, the filling applied on one half of the circle and the other half of the circle used to cover the filling before the edges are pressed down with a fork to seal the filling while joining one edge of the semi-circle to the other.
