This is a fabric that is weaved evenly as well as classified with thread count which are packed together to form blocks that are easy-to-see squares and used for cross stitch.
The lower the thread, the larger the cross stitch and the coarser the fabric while the higher the thread count, the smaller the cross stitch and the finer the fabric.
