This is a large saucer block with a 440mm diameter. This block has a big sweep up on the high side and a conical-style central dome.
The presser can be used in its own right to make coolie-style hats, giving you even more for your money! It comes with the presser and the string groove included as standard.
We love these two examples of hats blocked on this block. The stunning ivory hat on the left is by Australian milliner Catherine Kelly at Embellish Atelier and the elegant blue hat below is by UK milliner Charlotte Beazley of Beazley.
