QuiltCon 2022 Hexagon Quilting Challenge
Sponsored by American Patchwork & Quilting
This year, American Patchwork & Quilting and the MQG want to see what you do with hexagons! The beloved six-sided shape is so versatile – how will you be inspired to create your quilt? Whether your hexagons are giant, tiny, made by hand, or made by machine, get your quilt design brain in gear!
Hexagon Quilting Challenge Rules
Eligible quilts must use a hexagon shape as a primary element in the design. A hexagon is defined as a six-sided polygon. The total of the internal angles of any simple hexagon is 720°.
Size restrictions follow the same standard as all QuiltCon quilts – there is no minimum size, and there is a maximum size of 440″ total perimeter (no single side larger than 110″).
Quilt entries will be open September 1 to October 31, 2021 (the same as all QuiltCon Together show entries). Quilts can be submitted via the form on the Quilt Show Information page during that time.
