Wear A Hat Day is the UK’s biggest brain tumour research fundraising event. Since the first in 2010, Wear A Hat Day has raised over £1 million – money that’s helping fund four UK Research Centres of Excellence, raise awareness of this devastating disease and influence the Government and larger cancer charities to invest more nationally in research for brain tumours.
Every year Brain Tumour Research collaborates with celebrated Milliners and Hatters to create exclusively designed brooches. With a striking feathered silhouette, the 2019 Wear A Hat Day brooch is based on one of Edwina Ibbotson’s beautifully-crafted designs using traditional techniques.
The latest brooch is available for just £10 (plus any donation you’d like to make on top) and limited to a run of just 500. It comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity to verify this.
