Resin is an excellent way to add colour and interest to your home. Our Adventures in Resin Art taster workshop offers a bespoke opportunity for beginners looking to explore using epoxy resin to create beautiful abstract pieces of art. At our Cotswold studio we will introduce you to applying epoxy resin to MDF boards. You will work with our non-toxic, odourless and BPA-free 1 to 1 epoxy art resin, learning how to measure, mix and pour resin so that you can continue your resin art adventures at home.
After a short demonstration by our resin experts you will be hands-on with our resin and pigments, learning how to: Measure, mix and add colour to your resin Use a swipe technique Explore our resin pigments along with our natural mica powder Create a gorgeous dirty pour Encourage pigment interactions such as cell formation Achieve a perfect finish, removing any bubbles that appear Use tips, trade secrets and techniques Make use of leftover resin.
Your resin artwork will need to cure overnight and therefore will be posted to you after the workshop. Our Adventures in Resin Art workshop will leave with the confidence to create your own resin masterpieces, backed up with the experience, tips and techniques that you will have learnt from our resin experts.
What do you get for the price? We will show you how to create your very own resin masterpieces without using expensive or sophisticated equipment, and in this 6 hour workshop you will make at least 3 pieces of artwork.
