Traditional Cider Making
A day of apple pressing and cider tasting in our 17 century cider house. From the trees to the fruit to the barrel (and into your glass), book early and maybe organise a lift home too!
Do you have a glut of apples every year? Do they rot where they fall, a wasted resource? Maybe you’re planning to plant a new orchard? Or perhaps you simply fancy a day of traditional apple pressing and cider tasting in our 17th century cider house? From the trees to the fruit to the barrel (and into your glass too), this is a great introduction to the ancient arts of orchard keeping and cider making. The course includes a box of cider for you to take home and unlimited tastings whilst you’re here (hic!)
