These last few months have been a strange and difficult time, to say the least, and in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve had to make some changes.
Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented challenges that the pandemic brought to retail across the globe, we are sad to say that we’re unable to reopen our Newton Aycliffe store. Our head office store is loved by so many of our customers and has been a great place to learn, craft and chat.
We’ll be reopening the doors to our Evesham and Chesterfield stores on Monday 17th August, and we’ve been working hard to ensure social distancing measures are in place and that staff will be equipped with the correct PPE to keep both you and themselves safe. Our Boundary Mills Colne store has also reopened. Take a look below to find out more about our store opening times and guidelines.
I am beyond proud of what my amazing team and I have been able to achieve in the last 15 years and the pandemic has been the biggest challenge we have ever faced.
We have had to make some extremely difficult decisions, in order to protect as many jobs as possible, and I am so disappointed that we cannot reopen our Aycliffe store.
Of course, my biggest concern is for my fantastic colleagues who are facing redundancy and we will continue to support them in any way we can.
Everyone has worked extremely hard, going above and beyond to keep the business going throughout this crisis. This change has been an absolute last resort and ensure that Crafter’s Companion can continue to be successful in the years ahead.”
We will grow back stronger and while we’re still working through the effects of COVID-19, we are looking forward to the future of the business and want to thank you, our incredible customers, for your overwhelming support during this time.
