Here is a lovely step by step tutorial with pictures on brush embroidery and embossed cake.
You can take any line art of your choosing to do this brush embroidery technique.
Here the design on the keepsake embossing board has been used for brush embroidery, piping and embossing on fondant.
MATERIALS NEEDED
Keepsake embossing board: celebration
Keepsake glitter ball tool
Butter icing: pink
Pink fondant
Artist paint brush
1-needle piercing tool or office pin
Tracing paper
Pen
Copier paper
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Emboss the floral swirl design as designed on the copier paper , trace it with a pen or pencil

2. Place parchment paper over design and retrace the design to the parchment.
3. Place the parchment on the fondant covered cake and using the 1needle tool onto the cake.
4. With the butter icing and number 1 nozzle, trace flower with icing.
5. Push the end of artist brush into the leaf design on the cake
6. Damp the artist paint brush and drag it in a stroke from edge of flower towards the centre or flower. Repeat for each petal of flower and each flower( wipe brush clean after working on a petal)
7. Pipe the swirl design with the butter icing
8. Pipe over the flower design again to give a lift or dimension
9. Repeat brush stroke on the petals of each flower
10. Roll out fondant, Take a strip of fondant(pink that can go around cake) and place it on the floral swirl on the embossing board, and slightly press the fondant into the board.
11. Turn it over, (note the floral swirl is embossed on the fondant) place the strip around the base of cake.
12. Cut another strip of fondant for bow and place over the floral swirl to emboss. Bend one end of strip to the middle
13. Repeat for other end of strip and pinch the middle together
14. Place the fondant bow on the embossed ribbon fondant at the cake, place a small amount of butter icing at the back of bow and attach to the ribbon fondant at the base of cake
