Create & Craft UPDATE
So as to keep everyone informed rather than all the speculation going around, this is what we actually know so far:
Create and Craft have advised all live broadcasting is paused until Tuesday 8th October – Whether they will come back on air earlier or at all is unknown, but this is what has been advised at this point in time.
People are speculating they have gone into administration – This is UNTRUE they are not in administration.
For those that are posting all over, screen shots of ‘create and craft’ being dissolved in July of this year, that is not the company that was on your screens until Friday!
The company that was on your screens was Hochanda Global and they are still active, they were just trading under the banner of Create and craft. The one dissolved in July was the old create and craft, nothing to do with Hochanda or whom you placed your orders with!
As of Friday 4th October a new director was appointed.
This person generally acts under a consultant role and his history shows that he is made a director and within a month, winding down proceedings begin.
This means the company may be liquidated. Liquidation and administration are two different things, rather than me boring you on here, google will tell you the difference.
Now every part of me is crossed (including my stomach which is in knots ) that he will somehow decide not to liquidate and instead look for a buyer/investor etc, but that is normally the process taken for administration not liquidation and that is not normally this guys remit, so sadly it is looking on the worse side (but we can still hope!)
If you have outstanding orders with C&C bear with the suppliers as they are trying to navigate what to do or not to do at this point in time as we are all as in the dark as you guys.
Some have already said they will honour all orders, some have said they aren’t shipping at present until they see the next course of action. If concerned, check directly with the supplier.
They may not be able to give you a definitive decision yet and bear with them as they may be inundated with questions, but they may also have updates on their pages telling you where they are at, at present.
All orders from myself have been fulfilled at a cost to myself as I didn’t want the customer to bear this cost, I know it is not my fault and i am now out of pocket, but I have always prided myself on my customer service and putting the customer first and will continue to do so.
But that does mean at this point in time your support is more important than ever for me and all the other suppliers going through this, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the kind words, orders, shares, everything
Remember buying something isn’t the only way to support small businesses, interacting with their page, sharing posts etc are all ways to help them get seen by more people who may in turn order. Even liking or following a page helps support them by both showing you are there and the FB genies then help the page to be seen more, so no matter your position there are many ways to support our wonderful crafting community
Here’s hoping for good news and payments next week
