I’m super proud and pleased to share my first ever inspiration “Look Book” for my newest fabric collection! My super hero husband David Butler designed this gorgeous document as an inspiration guide for you in advance of my actually having the fabrics to sew with. I love the results and the ideas within! Dave, Sheila and I have been working hard to bring this all together. Our local, amazing sewist friends are helping us make sewn samples now so we can share gorgeous photos soon.
Soul Mate is printed on a brand new fabric! A 100% cotton poplin. It’s a higher thread count that’s made with finer yarns and provides a tighter weave. The hand is absolutely superior! It feels like Liberty of London fabrics but with more drape and weight similar to traditional quilting cottons. The finish is divine!! Seriously, it feels like butta. And it’s great for garment, accessory and home dec sewing too. We added Pellon’s® SF101 Shape-Flex™ fusible woven & their SK135 Sheer-Knit™ fusible knit to interface tunics, dresses, jackets and pillows. The finished result is perfection. The other amazing tidbit is this new fabric is priced the same as traditional quilting fabric! Luxury sewing with no additional cost. This kinda re-defines the term “win win”.
