In preparation for Valentine’s day, we are baking heart-shape cookies to eat with Yoghurt and Lemon Curd.
Plain flour- 300gm
Fresh eggs x 4
Butter 125g salted
Butter 125 g unsalted
Flour for sprinkling
Heart shape cookie cutter
Baking parchment\ Greaseproof paper
Step 1: Mix the butter(salted and unsalted) and sugar until it is creamy. Add the eggs and gradually add the flour. Roll the dough and cut the cookies using the heart shape
Step 2: Cover the baking tray with greaseproof paper or baking parchment. Place the heart shape cookies on the baking tray and bake for 45 minutes 100 – 130 degree Celsius.
Step 3: When the cookies are ready, Leave to cool on a wire tray. Serve with Greek Yoghurt and Lemon Curd.
