Dear Crafters,

We now have an update for those of you who purchased our Cushion Kits on our Create & Craft shows last week. We’ve reached an amicable agreement with artist Johanna Basford, who we informed immediately when we discovered that some of the designs on the kits resembled her original artworks. We’ve agreed with Johanna to send the kits to charity, so that the kits can still be of benefit.
Thank you for your patience in waiting for an update; we’re sorry to disappoint those of you who ordered the kits; A member of the Create and Craft customers services team will be in touch with you shortly.
We thank Johanna for her co-operation and understanding, which enabled us to reach a swift resolution to this matter. We take artist intellectual property rights extremely seriously, and on this occasion we were misled by a manufacturer who claimed to own the rights to the designs that we marketed; our internal procedures have been reviewed and improved to ensure this never happens again.

Kind regards,
Craft Buddy Team
