Hi Everyone ,
It has been brought to my attention that some of the artwork for the range of cushions I launched from Craft Buddy may be from a UK designer .

As I said in the show I spotted this company on a previous buying trip and fell in love with the concept and designs and Craft Buddy purchased the range .

They did ask about the artwork and were told that the factory that manufactured them owned the designs rights.

We bought from the company in good faith . We are now looking into this and have now challenged the manufacturer and written to the designer to clarify the position . Craft Buddy have asked Create and Craft to remove them from the site until we are happy no infringement has taken place .

Being a designer myself I would not be at all happy if my designs were copied and I am well aware of any upset this may cause . So please be reassured we are taking this seriously and making sure that Joanna Bansford is fully aware of the position .

I will certainly update you all when we know the true position.
Thank you all for your concern
Dawn x
