As hat makers and small business owners, we all seem to have one thing in common. We are busy! Busy designing, creating, making, selling and organising. Busy figuring out the complexities of social media and marketing. Busy dreaming up new millinery creations. Busy finding the right balance between work and life.Busy, busy, busy.
Of course, all of these things are important and they all need to be done. But I was reminded, when I interviewed Melissa Wilson of The Brave Beanie Project last week, that no matter how busy we are with our own lives, it is good to stop and look outwards every now and then.
