Our project for the day is a just inked greeting card using the garden fairy- forget-me-not rubberstamp by Joanna Sheen. The rubberstamp is detailed that there isn’t the need for colouring the stamped image because the inkpad used on the rubberstamp has done that already.
Materials needed
Scissors
Rubberstamp- Garden Fairy- Forget-me-not by Joanna Sheen
Cardstock- A4- white
Cardstock A5- Blue, white
Ribbon- Satin- 1/2 metre(optional)
Stamping mat
Ink Pad- light blue, medium blue and dark blue.
3D sticky foam pads (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Score and fold the white A4 cardstock to form an A5 card. Using the medium blue inkpad on a portion of the forget-me-not rubberstamp, stamp randomly on the front of the A5 card.
Step 2: Using the dark blue inkpad, ink the same part or a different part of the forget-me-not rubberstamp and stamp randomly on the A5 card.
Step 3: Using the light blue inkpad, ink the same part or a different part of the forget-me-not rubberstamp and stamp randomly on the A5 card.
Step 4: Using the dark blue inkpad, ink the forget-me-not rubberstamp containing a fairy and stamp on A5 white cardstock. Trim excess cardstock but leave a tittle border around the stamped image.
Step 5: Place the stamped garden fairy topper( made in step 4) on a light blue cardstock, glue together, leave a little border and trim off excess. Place a medium blue cardstock under the topper, leave a little border and trim the excess.
Step 6: Place and glue the fairy topper to the front of the greeting card.
Step 7: To vary, glue a ribbon to the front of the card.
Step 8: Place and glue the topper to the front of the card.
