A message from our CEO
Valued Sizzix customer,
Firstly, we hope that you and your families are safe and well.
The last few months have been challenging on many levels and our thoughts go out to all who have been impacted by Covid-19 in one way or another.
I want to thank all our loyal customers for your support during these uncertain times. Along with many brands across the globe, we at Sizzix have had to overcome many challenges and carve out a new normal to ensure that we retain a ‘business as usual approach’ and continue to serve our creative communities with a wealth of inspiration, as well as our much loved products.
Connection and interaction with our customers at this time has been a top priority and we have been humbled and astonished at the support we have received from our existing communities as well as our new audiences engaging with us from across the globe.
We have seen this support from our peers within the creative industry too. Our good friend Tim Holtz has been dedicating time each week to keep all our makers entertained through his inspirational, live content. We have loved watching you each week Tim and value being able to share this journey with you. It is challenging times like these that we cannot underestimate the collective power of standing side by side, working together and supporting one another.
We will strive to continue to keep you inspired with regular content across our online channels. Our Sizzix designers, Pete, Jess, Alexis, Debbie, Jen and Josh have all loved creating live tutorials and being able to keep connected with you all during this time. We also thank you for giving back and sharing all your wonderful creations across social media. We love to see what you create with our products, so please continue to share your projects with us.
An even bigger thank you to our customers who have supported us in our charity endeavours. We have been working with Action Against Hunger, the Trussell Trust and Feeding America to support the fight against global malnutrition and hunger. In July, we launched two charity die sets of which all profits are split between our chosen charities. It has been overwhelming to witness the support our customers have given to these charities, not only through purchases of the designs, but through the sharing of projects and inspiration. We truly cannot thank you enough.
I would again like to take a moment to thank our colleagues for their incredible efforts during these unprecedented times. The dedication and commitment they have shown is truly inspiring and each and every member of the Sizzix family has had a positive impact on ensuring there is minimal disruption to our services throughout this time.
And to our customers old and new, thank you again for your continued support. You have our commitment that we will work tirelessly to minimize disruption to our services and make continued improvements to our online channels, whilst continuing to serve you with a host of creative content and inspiration.
Take care of yourselves and of each other,
Richard Birse
