Issue 214 features a spectacular feature about the run-and-gun sensation Turrican. Factor 5’s Julian Eggebrecht looks at all the key games in the series and reveals his plans for the franchise’s future.

There are two big anniversaries this issue, too. Our Ultimate Guide celebrates the 40th anniversary of Battlezone, with input from Jason Kingsley and Susan Witts, while our 25 Years Of Worms feature looks at all the aspects that make the game so good, from its multiplayer to its weapons and humour.

Other highlights of issue 214 include our huge guide to what products to pick up in the holiday season, how Silent Hill was reinvented for a new generation and an Ultimate Guide on Sega’s wonderful Skies Of Arcadia.

We also use this issue to go behind the scenes of a number of classic games, including John Madden Football and Dan Dare III: The Escape. Oh, and we reveal how the ZX Interface 1 & 2 were created as well.

We’ve a great selection of smaller features too, including Feud, Analogue Duo, The Detective Game, Mike Archer, Virtual Boy Controller, Axelay, Genesis 3, Moonstone: A Hard Day’s Knight, Spelunky 2, Evercade Multi Carts.

Thanks for your continued support of the magazine, subscribing really does help us. Stay safe and we’ll see you next month.
