I got some Aldi’s yarn recently and decided to try it on the Silver Reed LK150 or K360 knitting machine, which is a mid-gauge knitting machine.
The yarn is quite thick(80% acrylic, 20% wool) to knit on stitch dial “8”. The carriage was put under intense pressure.
This gave me a tension gauge of 20cm for 60 rows and 22.8cm for 40 stitches.
Next time, I will use stitch dial 10 but the knit will be a bit loose then.
