Our featured post from Crafters Dictionary is Glaze.
This is a thin layer of transparent paint applied on or over an object, surface or another paint thereby giving a true sense of depth and also allowing light to be reflected on the object.
In baking, the glaze is used to give a finishing or shiny surface to the cake especially glaze made from fruit syrup. The apricot glaze is used to make marzipan stick to the cake.
