An important update about Sprout Patterns
We are writing today to let you know about upcoming changes at Spoonflower that involve our sister brand, Sprout Patterns.
At its core, Spoonflower’s focus has always been to empower creative individuals around the world by connecting artists, designers and makers through a unique and growing platform. Sprout Patterns is an exciting testament to that vision and we’re proud to have shared something so special and unique with you.
As we look to the future of Spoonflower, it is with a heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to shut down Sprout Patterns’ operations at the end of 2018 in order to focus our efforts on new opportunities for our DIY community.
While this news may come as a disappointment, we’re excited for the future of Spoonflower and look forward to continuing to provide the very best products and experiences.
The last day to place an order on Sproutpatterns.com is Sunday, December 16.
What does this mean for Spoonflower designers?
- Sprout project renders on Spoonflower’s cross sell bar will be removed from Spoonflower.com on November 16.
- Though Spoonflower designers will no longer earn Sprout commissions after December 16, you will continue to earn the maximum on Spoonflower and Roostery sales as normal.
- If you have created Sprout projects to display your designs and would like to save the rendered images, log into your Sprout Patterns account to download and save to your own device by December 17.
- Sprout Patterns accounts will continue to be accessible to all users through December 31, 2018. Please take some time to visit your account and download any PDF patterns and instructions that you may need.
As always, please don’t hesitate to email us at help@spoonflower.com with any questions.
We are grateful to have you as part of our community!
Sincerely,
Spoonflower
