You will see how to make a gather skirt and also
how to continue knitting so as to turn it into a gown.
Here are pictures of my gather gowns .
Gather gowns are lovely gifts for newborn to children.
You can knit them in desired stitch patterns or in stripes.
I made a buttonhole shoulder opening at the neck,
for ease of wearing the gown
(because of different head sizes and also
not to struggle when wearing the gown
over the head of the child).
