Sewing project: My finished gown using the Vogue 8814 sewing pattern

To keep up with my sewing crafting resolution this year, I have been crafting more and more each week.

Here is the dress that I made using the Vogue 8814 sewing pattern in the project that I was working on here( http://craftersengagement.com/2017/03/currently-working-on-using-vogue-8814-sewing-pattern-to-make-a-lovely-dress-anino/).

Let’s inspire each other to be more creative and use up those hoarded craft stuff( materials, tools/equipment and much more).

Materials needed: Fabrics (100% cotton), lining, sewing thread with bobbins, rotary cutter, sewing machine, invisible zip\zipper, Vogue 8814 sewing pattern,

I used fat quarters fabric to make the upper part of the dress. The base/skirt part of the dress need larger size- yards

Pin the invisible zip to the fabric. Using the invisible zipper sewing machine foot, sew the invisible zip to the fabric.

Pin the lining to the edge of the invisible zipper and body of the fabric. It is necessary to flip the fabric to know if it is rightly done before you start sewing.
