BLOCK OF THE MONTH CB226 – Sculptured Crown
Every month we offer 15% discount on one of our block designs and this month it’s the sculptured crown block CB226. The original inspiration for this design was a wonderful French video from the 1940s which showed a milliner and block maker working together to design a new shape. We copied this design in our CB206 and BB129 – and were then asked to produce a head sized version of the crown which became CB226.
It can be used with any of our multiblock brims to block in one piece. Alternatively it can be blocked in two pieces with any brim of your choice and stitched together. We think it would also work fabulously slightly under head fitting size, in order to perch a little.
We love the way this block has been used by Kimberly Hutsal of Two Foxes studio.
