Project: Baked Spring Parcels

Let’s make baked spring parcel for mom.  Baked Spring Parcels can be eaten hot or cold.

Pizza fillings can be used.

Ingredient

Bread Dough (Plain flour, yeast, sugar, salted and unsalted butter, warm water)

Tomatoes Pasta Sauce

Grated Cheddar Cheese

Sliced Chicken Breast

Sunflower Oil

Flour for dusting

Equipment

Spring shapes baking mould (Cupcake or muffin baking mould)

Oven

Rolling pin

 

 

 

Instructions

Step 1:Fry the sliced chicken in oil.  Grate the cheese.

 

Step 2: Roll the dough and cover the spring shapes silicone baking mould with the dough.

Tip: Use the rolling pin to lift the dough and then place the dough over the baking mould. Lift each end of the dough and let it drop into the shape. Do not stretch the dough.

 

 

Step 3: Spoon some tomatoes sauce into each shape. Add the fried chicken (Chicken can be cut to fit inside each shape). Add the grated cheese.

 

Step 4: Roll another bread dough and cover the top of the baking mould. Trim off excess. Bake in the middle layer of the oven, 150 degree Celsius, 30 to 45 minutes. When it is ready, put on a wire rack to cool.

 

To make the rectangular parcels

Step A: Roll the bread dough.

 

Step B: Cut into large strips and width. Spread the tomatoes sauce on one section of the dough strip. Add the chicken to the tomatoes sauce.

 

Step C: Add the cheese to the tomatoes sauce and chicken.

 

Step D: Cover the filling with the other side of the bread dough strip. Cut the excess. Prick the edges with a fork or the edge of a cutlery.

 

Step E: Bake in the middle layer of the oven, 150 degree Celsius for 30 to 45 minutes. When it is ready, put on a wire rack to cool.
