Open Letter: STITCHES 2020 Events & COVID-19 Update

Hello Friends!

Much has happened in the nearly six weeks since I last addressed all of you about how the COVID-19 virus has affected plans for our upcoming events.

We have been receiving inquiries from exhibitors and attendees about our upcoming events: STITCHES Midwest 2020, scheduled to take place in Schaumburg, IL from July 30-August 2, 2020 and STITCHES SoCal 2020, scheduled to take place in Pasadena, CA from November 5-8, 2020.

Currently, we are planning and working toward having those shows. In other words, it’s too early to cancel or postpone either event.

We are in constant contact with Illinois about STITCHES Midwest and California about STITCHES SoCal. We are monitoring developments as well as federal, state and CDC policies and recommended guidelines.

We know that everyone needs to continue to be informed. With that in mind, we’ll issue a statement about STITCHES Midwest 2020 no later than June 1, 2020.

We are committed to all of you. We want to move forward with the events for our exhibitors, teachers, attendees, and staff. At the same time, we reserve the right to cancel any show to protect everyone during this pandemic. The process is not simple, and it evolves from day to day. We ask for your patience and trust so that we can use the time we need to make the best decision possible.

Be safe. Have hope. And continue to have faith in our common future.

We will stay in touch.

All my best,

Benjamin Levisay
