Craft Dictionary/ Crafters Dictionary: Lining-Cake Tins

Our featured post from Crafters Dictionary is Lining-Cake Tins.

This is the act of placing baking parchment paper in a baking tin to prevent the cake or cake mixture from sticking to the baking tin or baking pan during cooking and to prevent the cake from damaging when the cake is turned out.

To line a baking tin, grease the inside of the baking tin, Cut the greaseproof or baking parchment paper to the size (side and bottom) of the baking tin and lay the baking paper in the baking tin- the bottom lies flat at the bottom of the tin while the sides go against the inner sides of the tin, Pour the cake mixture and then bake. The lining will come off with the cake and the lining can be peeled off the cake when the cake has cooled.

Would love to see some more cooking videos from yourself. They have really inspired me to take up baking myself, so would love to follow along to more of your high quality videos.

    Thank you,
    Harry

    • Hello Harry,
Haahaaha, I am laughing at my cooking which is organised chaos ????. Thank you. I will try and do some videos later on.

I hope when you actually bake, it will turn out right but incase it does not, it is something to laugh over, learn and try again.
      Thank you,
      Anino
