30 Skirts Project- Skirt 3: Machine Knitted Gathered Skirt Using Solid\ Plain Colour and Self-Patterning (Paintbox) Yarn

Today, our third skirt in the “30 Skirts Project” is a machine knitted gathered skirt using plain\ solid colour and self- patterning yarn.

You can watch the video on how to machine knit this gathered skirt on Anino TV Youtube. You can hand knit or crochet this skirt if you desire.

Material needed

Knitting machine- Silver Reed LK150 or any Flat bed knitting machine

200gm of Double Knit(DK) yarn- Black- 50gms,  Magpie (Discontinued yarn)- We use Robin Paintbox brand by Thomas B. Ramsden.

Elastic- 20mm or 25mm width

Sewing machine

Sewing thread
