Read the press release below.

Hello Designers,

As the world is about to brace for the approaching colder seasons, here at Vogue Knitting we are preparing for our Spring/Summer 2019 issues.

With the fashion shows from Fashion Week just finished we have picked inspiration from designs, fabrications and over-all moods. The Chanel jacket has made a comeback, as have structured spring suits. We saw a lot of unique lace and there is a market for sparkle yarns during the day. Intricate Crochet is definitely having a moment and we are fully embracing it. Tropical moods were displayed through bright colors along with graphic modern art.

We want you, our designers, to be inspired by the runway trends. Please look at this link (https://www.vogue.co.uk/gallery/spring-summer-2019-trends) for inspiration. It is also useful to look at (https://www.pantone.com/color-intelligence/fashion-color-trend-report/fashion-color-trend-report-new-york-spring-summer-2019) for color ideas.

With these endless possibilities to find inspiration we here at Vogue Knitting are excited to see all the beautiful ideas you have. We are looking for garments, as well as shawls, cowls and other accessories.

Email your submissions as a .pdf, .jpg, or .doc to designsub@sohopublishing.com with “VK Spring/Summer 2019” in the subject line. Please keep your submissions to a maximum of 2 pages and 2MB per design idea. Be sure that your name and contact information are listed on each page.

The deadline for all submissions is Friday, October 19th, 2018 at 9am EST. Thank you for designing for us, and we’re looking forward to seeing your work!

Best,
Lindsay and the Vogue Knitting Design Team
