According to a post by Soft Byte Ltd, an update for Designaknit 8 is available and the bug for downloads of Jacquard patterns to Brother Knitting machines has been taken care of.

Since the previous release, downloads of Jacquard patterns to Brother machines were coming out blank. This has now been fixed!
The new version is 8.10.00.
